Check in

Check in to the boats is 3pm and departure time is 10am. Please contact us in case of late arrival and we will accommodate your needs.

Parking

We have free and secure parking for your vehicles. At any time during your stay you are able to return to your cars by organising with our on call staff member to assist you to park into the marina. 

Driving the Houseboat

Anyone with a current drivers licence can drive the houseboats after an induction from one of our friendly staff. On the induction, you are guided through the features of the houseboats and then orientated to the controls during a practice run.  We assist you to understand the river charts and the location of all safety gear on board.  During the orientation we can also assist you in your plans and help you to know the best places to go.  

Fuel

Fuel tank sizes

  • Prestige Houseboats – 450 litres petrol (apx 10-15 litres per hour driving), 110 litres diesel (apx 5-10 litres per day for generator)
  • Escape Houseboats – 1000 litres petrol (apx 10-15 litres per hour driving), 300 litres diesel (apx 5-10 litres per day for generator)
  • Luxury Houseboats – 350 litres petrol (apx 10-15 litres per hour driving), 350 litres diesel (apx 5-10 litres per day for generator)
  • River Cruisers – 110 litres petrol (apx 5-8 litres per hour driving)
  • River Explorer – 80 litres petrol (apx 5-8 litres per hour driving)
  • Camping Boat – 110 litres petrol. (apx 5 litres per hour driving)

All are filled on your arrival.  Solar panels minimise the amount that the generator will need to run, in turn lowering your diesel costs.  Fuel amounts above are indicative only and depend on speed of driving and amount of power used.  Fuel is charged at cost price, no handling costs are added.  

There should be ample fuel available for your trip, however, in the event that you are running low on fuel, you can contact us and organize to be refuelled.

What to Bring

  • Food (including condiments) and drinks for the duration of your stay.
  • Beach towels
  • Toilet paper (some provided to get you started)
  • Sunscreen
  • Fly spray and insect repellent
  • Fishing gear (licence can be purchased from service stations and camping shops in Echuca/Moama or online)
  • Luxury Houseboats Only – Coffee pods (Lavazza make sure it is “A MIO MODO” only available at Coles/Woolsworths) or Ground Coffee for Espresso Machine
  • Prestige Houseboats – Ground coffee for Espresso Machine
